Playbook · Quiz → personalized result
Use for: products that change per customer (goal, amount, type, plan length, bundle size). The reader should feel the product was built for them.
The quiz (5 questions)
| Q | Purpose | Example (weight loss) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goal (sets the main token) | How much do you want to lose? 10 / 20 / 30 / 50+ lb |
| 2 | Starting point | What have you tried? |
| 3 | The obstacle | What gets in the way most? |
| 4 | Preference / lifestyle | Morning or evening routine? |
| 5 | Commitment level (sets the bundle) | How soon do you want to see progress? |
- One question per screen, big tap targets, progress bar, back button.
- Optional email ask after Q5, framed as "send me my plan" (never before engagement).
- Short "building your plan…" screen (2–3 seconds) that restates their answers.
The result page (a product page in disguise)
| # | Section | Job |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Personal heading | Built from answer tokens: "Your plan to lose 30 lb, built around your evening routine" |
| 2 | Why this fits you | 3 numbered lines, each quoting one of their answers back |
| 3 | Primary pick | One product/bundle matched to Q1 + Q5, add-to-cart beside it; the offer exactly as the product page shows it |
| 4 | What to expect | Timeline matched to their goal (universal wording, no overpromise) |
| 5 | Reviews | From people with a similar goal (filtered by tag) |
| 6 | Small upsell | One related item under the main pick |
| 7 | FAQ + guarantee | From the product page |
Carrying the answers through
- Answers are saved (URL parameters + local storage) so the product page shows the personalized line and the matched bundle preselected.
- With email: answers go to the email tool as profile fields for follow-up.
Variants: email gate on/off; one pick vs pick + bundle. Watch-outs: the timeline and results must stay within what the product can honestly do (05).
